چکیده
The study aimed at identifying the best genotypes for important candidate PIT 1 gene and seasonality influencing yield quality of milk, in Jersey Crossbred HF cattle population maintained an organized farm Mountain Livestock Research Institute, Manasbal, Kashmir. cows (60 each) were genotyped traits. Milk samples (50 ml) collected on weekly basis evaluation years 2016-18, among all four seasons milk traits studied fat%, lactose%, protein%, SNF, density ash. quantity average monthly yield, protein fat yield. Genomic DNA was extracted using Phenol-chloroform method association analysis done. exon VI (451 bp) screened polymorphisms PCR-RFLP HinfI restriction enzyme, revealing two (Pp pp) both breeds. Allele ‘p’ most frequently present (0.95) (0.82). genotype Pp crossbred pp showed higher values under study. In cows, effect significant fat% SNF. cows. Winter autumn had breeds Based study, it concluded that breed, season, are highly associated with dairy Genome wide studies recommended better understanding effects genes quantity.

The chemokine receptor 1 gene polymorphism and its association with Somatic Cell Score and milk production traits in dairy cattle*
CXC chemokine receptors 1 (CXCR1) play a key role in inflammatory response and eventual activation of the innate immunity. Mastitis is a big problem in dairy industry. In the presented study the bovine CXCR1 gene was considered a candidate gene of anti-mastitis defense in Chinese Holsteins. Polymorphism of bovine CXCR1 was investigated and its associations with Somatic Cell Scores (SCS) and mil...
متن کاملSingle nucleotide polymorphism of the lactoferrin gene and its association with milk production and reproduction traits in Iranian Holstein cattle
Bovine lactoferrin (LTF) is a member of the transferrin family of iron-binding proteins. This protein is present in a wide variety of biological fluids and shows important physiological functions in body. In this study, 404 blood samples were collected from Holstein dairy farms in Iran. A 301 bp fragment of intron 6 in bovine LTF gene was amplified and the animals were genotyped using polymeras...

The objective of this study was to determine the polymorphism of bovine β-lactoglobulin (β-LG) gene and its association with milk production traits in Iranian Najdi cattle. Blood samples were collected from 80 Najdi cattle from the Najdi cattle breeding station located in Shoshtar, Khuzestan. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) techniqus were used...
متن کاملGenetic Study of Dairy Cattle and Buffalo Bulls Based on Growth, Milk Production and Reproductive Traits
The present investigation aimed to conduct a genetic study of dairy cattle and buffalo bulls based on economic traits and their phenotypic correlation. The means of various economic traits in both the species are presented. Cattle bulls reported a better libido score, Flehmen response, requirement of mounting stimulus and semen volume, conception rate and expected predicted difference for milk ...
متن کاملThe number of loci that affect milk production traits in dairy cattle.
We have used the results of an experiment mapping quantitative trait loci (QTL) affecting milk yield and composition to estimate the total number of QTL affecting these traits. We did this by estimating the number of segregating QTL within a half-sib daughter design using logic similar to that used to estimate the "false discovery rate" (FDR). In a half-sib daughter design with six sire familie...
